Secured Processing Inc. Assumes Ownership of IT Security Products

ALEXANDRIA, VA — (September 3, 2003) — Secured Processing Inc. (SPI) today announced that it had assumed all ownership rights on the Sentinel Cyber Security System and the Dynamic Data Labeling System (DDLS) from Delta Security Technologies (DST). SPI is a small startup security products business that worked with DST to develop the Sentinel and DDLS technologies. Mr. Terence T. Flyntz, the CEO of SPI is the designer and patent holder for the Sentinel and DDLS technologies. DST will continue to participate in the Sentinel and DDLS technologies as the primary product distributor for Government sales and will also be responsible for system installations and maintenance.

The Sentinel product is a hardware based multi-domain security product for PCs and workstations that also provides protection against the Insider Threat. It was evaluated by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) comprised of the National Security Agency (NSA) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and was awarded an EAL 4 (Evaluation Assurance Level 4) rating under the Common Criteria Security Standard in September 2002. The DDLS was certified recently by NAVAIRSYSCOM in a large DoD information system, the Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System (JEDMICS). DDLS provides Mandatory Access Control over information, down to the granularity of a single data record, in large legacy databases with many remote users from different organizations.
